Lol Damn this almost mirrors my experience with the hodads and posers at Sebastian Inlet.

Locals were the dirtbags and we had trustifarians too, the unwashed rich kids who sold big sacks of ditch weed to tourists, Great story bro, Just replace snowboards with surfboards and yeah there was raaaaaaape here and there too, Imagine Spicoli playing a guitar badly at a campfire schmoozing some 15 yr old wannabe😂that was it!

Sounds about right. An old head in Big Sky told me that FL Keys were like Big Sky but on the water.

Glad you liked the story brother.

What crazy in the Keys is after Irma the Russians and Ukrainians swooped in and bought a shitload of properties and businesses, all the Key West parking lots.

Islamorada and Key Largo are a lot like Big Sky, Lots of broke ass alcoholics and various low key old money cliques, always pissing off the sheriff😂

I absolutely love the not so scenic type of people in Gallatin County!

They are a special breed. There was one of those Highway Patrol shows that was Gallatin County sheriff. The people they nabbed was a who’s-who of Gallatin Gateway, Big Sky and West Yellowstone. Was pulled over by one of the deputies a couple times. Was such a trip to have seen him on tv.

I wanted to say “Andesite Mtn is super sendy”, but most don’t know what that means

I believe shreddy to also be perfectly accurate to describe andesite.

Top speed ever achieved was on andesite. I knew it like the back of my hand. Peru. Bolivia. Snake Pit. Bear Lair.

Elk park ridge, just off of mad wolf, is my fastest. On a groomer day that run is lightning fast.

So fast. Big Horn was fast but then you have that left kink around bear lair.

Ambush off Ramcharger was mine.

Isn’t it crazy how you get to know every inch, like where people turn and push snow around and such? I mean given you’re flat basing, but WHERE exactly to do it 🧠
